McMath Moment of the week

Today we are celebrating one week of proper crayon usage!( ie NOT on the walls, books, furniture.) Nathan has spent the week coloring at his leisure(but I've been watching like a hawk), and will have free usage now(until he colors in a library book, or something equally horrible)

Washed up

Today was a rainy, gloomy, chilly day in Clovis. We did our grocery shopping before lunch and naptime. A great day for napping.

Then we watched The Backyardigans and snacked on garden tomatoes and popcorn.

We played cars and colored :)

Mama's is on the right Nathan's is on the left.

Saw your McBurger today

We went on a road trip today... to Target! Two hours there... two hours back. Nate watched Toy Story, I finished a quilt binding and Dave drove through 200 miles of this. WIDE OPEN NOTHING!

Except for when we drove through "the cheeseburger capital of Texas" and " the beef capital of the world" Then we stared mouths open, even though we have passed them dozens of times before. Sad Sad Sad.

In the garden of...1612B

This year our backyard is keeping us busy.  We ripped up a plot in the back to plant a few things.  We put in 8 tomato plants....

2 cherry tomato plants.....

There are 20 cucumber plants.  We are hoping to can LOTS of pickles!

We put in 1 cantaloupe plant, and one watermelon plant......

And we have 8 green pepper plants!!  We are very excited!

Our front yard has lots to water too!

Our hostas are way larger than they were last year, and they seem to be handling the heat better, although something has been nibbling on them!

Be sure to check out the new movies if you have time :)
