Fog Freeze

Last night a banner ran along the screen while we were watching SNL that said Fog Freeze Warning. Dave and I wondered what is a fog freeze? It had been really foggy all day, and snow was expected, but what exactly is a fog freeze?

We stepped out the door this morning, and we got it! We didn't get much snow, just a dusting really, but the trees and the grass was covered in a magical frost. Must be because that fog had frozen eh?

Living

Living room. Livable.

When you enter the front door...Split foyer. These stairs go down to the bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

I put that curtain up as a joke, I was unpacking boxes and found it and decided to put it up to see what Dave said. Well then its super chilly down there and the curtain helps a TON! So I guess we will keep it up during the winter.

Nathan's Room

Well can you believe it?! Two rooms finished now! Here is the little man's room.

He calls that red car the 'cool car'. We have plans to get Nate a headboard soon.


Having the toys in the room is working well! I'm shocked. We put the monitor up so we can hear him when we are upstairs. But so far he just drops in during the day occasionally to play. I think he will spend more time in there once the moving crap is cleaned up. But right now there are lots of rooms full of stuff to get into.

Gotta love the rug from G-pa B.

He loves that piano from his Auntie Jennifer.

Here is my first finished room! Everything fits! This is kitchen coming in from the living room.

This is one view looking in from the dining area. The dining area is huge! Its more than just a room its a large space. It will be where I quilt also. The door below the pig is the pantry. The door to the left of that is the 'pantry' that is full of Pyrex stuff.

Here is our dining table. I bought a new table cloth. Makes me happy!!

There is the microwave and fridge. Its a bit tight in the kitchen, but having the microwave there makes it all work. YAY!! That door to the left is the laundry/pantry. Its not ready to be photographed.

We now live in South Dakota!

The Black Hills!

We are considering the house and the work that needs to be done. The inspection wasn't horrible, but it might be a little too much for us to do. We will see.

Bought a House

Bi level. 5 bedrooms. 2 bathrooms. living room. family room. big backyard. willow tree in the back. 2 car garage. big kitchen.

We made an offer.

They countered.
