HE EAT!

Here is our new pet. He was hanging out on the swing for a bit and I snapped a picture.

He banged his beak on something, and its bruised. But he is eating just fine. He is pretty chill and will sit on my finger nicely.

Nathan just loves checking on the bird. Today when Jukibird was eating Nate was laughing like crazy. "He eat! He eat!"

I'll spare you the "he poop" excitement.

Nate turned 3 this week!
He blew the candle out this year and he was so proud of himself. He kept telling replaying the event.

How could it be 3 years have passed already?

Watched a little bull riding.

Finally, its starting to feel like normal life.

But, luckily it is finally warming up inside! We have had issues for the past 3 days with loosing power. Getting it back for a couple house then loosing it again. Its been very frustrating, I've just resolved to leaving the (gas)oven on 200 degrees all the time just in case.

Its been incredibly cold out. -21 last night with a windchill of-40. Today's high only got to -2 and tonight it is supposed to be -19 with windchill below -35. So when the furnace stops working it gets cold real real quick. During a stretch of a few hours with power this afternoon, I made this little play quilt for Nathan. He loves it.

Along with it being freezing and the power issues, we are dealing with our computer being on the fritz. So if we are a little out of touch, just know we are trying to get the damn thing to work... or waiting for a new PC to arrive:)
