We took friends on the boat with us last week.
It was fun!
All the kids had lots of fun going fast, and making whirlpools.
We went swimming and had a really fun day.
I'm so glad that Nate enjoys the boat so much.
The first time we went out he was quite scared.
But now he loves it!
He loves jumping waves and going fast, and he walks around while we are moving with ease and goes swimming with confidence. Having a buddy on the boat took the fun to another level! I'm so happy Dave wanted to try this boating thing. It's such fun for our whole family.
Dave thought buying a boat would mean his weekends are free for fun instead of house projects, but he wasn't correct about that. We still find time to get our projects in. Last weekend we did the flooring in the dining/family room. What a relief! With three dogs the carpet was just gross from accidents and muddy feet. I love not having carpet at the back door!!
It was quite a chore to move everything out of this room though!! I have spent this week putting things back together.
It took me four days to get the classroom put together! Not just because of the flooring, but also because it was time to get ready for the new school year.
We moved some things around, and I think it will be a very functional and convenient.
I bought this 17 dollar laminator, which is fantastic, and I have been laminating all the things!!
I think when I'm done I will take a quick tour of the classroom for the grandparents!!
