We went to the squadron Christmas Party last night. The food was really good and it was nice to go out. We won a DVD player! I am still shocked. WE usually never win anything!!
Yesterday before the party we made cookie dough. Well I made it and Dave was hanging around the kitchen. For the first time I attempted the Stevens Sour Cream Cookie recipe. I made a double batch and my Kitchen Aid was trashed afterwards. It took my awhile to clean up the mess.
Dave had to work today so I made and decorated the cookies alone. It took me a hella long time to bake them all because I only have three cookie sheets. Luckily right when I was getting ready to frost them my sister called and we talked for awhile while I decorated so it made the time more enjoyable. I have tasted the cookies and they taste just like the ones his Grandma sent us last year so I think I succeeded! Dave will be impressed.
I am so excited about Christmas!!! Better go gotta start dinner I am roasting a chicken tonight. YUM!
