Well, actually not more power, just power. We didn't have any for more than 11 hours yesterday. It was mind numbing. We played Yahtzee, I wrote 2 letters, cleaned up the guest room, took a 2 hour nap, and we were still bored. Nathan didn't notice really until later on in the day when Dave complained about missing football. Nate looked at him sadly, then went over to try to turn the TV on.(Which he knows how to do)
That was 11 hours we couldn't google Rapid City! Haha. We have been doing that a lot since we got our assignment on Thursday. ( Dave discovered Rapid City has a Cabelas. That's all he needed to hear to be giddy about this new place) We have also been learning just how many national parks, and state parks SD has. And its really a stones throw from Glacier and Yellowstone. Can you hear our Pop up calling? The photos above was of our camping weekend this past June. We went to Bottomless Lakes State Park in Roswell. It was 104 with no trees. Yeah, we are excited to go camping up north.
Here is another blast from the past, and a little factoid for ya. Nathan will turn 3yrs old a month after we land at out next place. That brings him to 3 homes, in less than 3 years. He is better traveled than most adults. This photo above was taken the night before the movers came to pack us up in Misawa. Nathan had been in the TV cabinet "helping" Dave unhook everything. When the cabinet was shut, Nate was left standing there for a bit, the first time he had stood alone for a good long time.
This was the night before our things were delivered at this house in New Mexico. He was running around the new house. The kid learned to walk/run while we were homeless. I don't have a clue whats to come for us, but I know Nate will adapt and thrive no matter what. Even if his parents are going gray and have a hard time with change. He will be fine.
