Week 33

Christmas is only 9 days away!  Can you believe it?  We've got lots of gifts under out tree.  Now if only some snow will stick it would really feel like Christmas is coming.  We got some snow late last night and the sky looks like we might get some later today.  Yippie. 

Dave's tiny office had their Christmas party on Friday.  Everyone was supposed to bring a dish and most ended up bring store bought roasted chickens instead!  What cheaters... One guy was going to make lasagna but stopped by Popeyes for some chicken  and biscuits instead!  Haha. It was funny.  I made the easiest dish ever.  Its just a bag of frozen cheese ravioli -thawed, mixed with a 4 oz jar of drained mushrooms, a 2 oz package of pepperoni, and a jar of traditional Prego sauce.  You mix it  put it in 8x8 dish and then sprinkle the top with 1 cup shredded Swiss Cheese and a little sprinkle of Italian seasoning.  That's it.  Bake for 40-50 minutes.  Its so easy.  I doubled it for the party and it was a bit hit.     We exchanged Elephant gifts and almost all the gifts were booze!!  Isn't that terrible?  Three out of the four wives in the office are pregnant!!  We took a BBQ sauce set.  The only other non booze gift was a casserole dish!  We got a bottle of Crown Royal.  Pooie.  Dave thinks it tastes horrible so I told him to put some amaretto and sweet and sour mix in it to make one of my fav drinks ( but I obviously didn't drink any) and he liked it a lot better.  Hehe. 

I had a Dr. appointment on Friday too.  It went well. Everythings a-ok.  I go back on the 3rd and then start weekly appointments until the baby arrives! I cannot believe it is getting so close to the end now.  I still need to wash all the baby clothes and sheets and towels and whatnot.  I thought I would save it until January to keep me busy that last month... but I keep thinking about how Dave was 3 weeks early and it has me nervous that the baby will arrive early too.   Dave keeps telling me I better have my bag packed by the beginning of January.  Eee he is making me nervous.  When he says that I usually just mumble something and change the subject but he tells me 'if you aren't going to pack it at least make a list so I will know what to bring if you have the baby before you pack'.  Yikes.    Anyhow.  My coats still fit!  It is obvious that I am pregnant when I zip them though.  I noticed yesterday that my baby bump is sort of pointy!  Whats with that?  Shouldn't it be round? 

I have received all of my baby shower gifts!  I opened most of them this past week.  I was so exhausted after opening them all.  It took me 2 hours!  We got everything we needed!!!!  Everyone is so kind and generous.  Dave and I were really very touched by how well our families took care of us.  The non registry gifts were perfect.  I didn't get too much of one size and I got a lot of neutral stuff.  I had registered for neutral stuff and was happy to get some blue things too like a blue towel or two and blue onesies. Everything was wonderful and we have everything we need.  Yippie.   Melissa mailed us some coupons and we got them the other day.  Dave and I had a lot of fun looking for items we buy.  We cut out a lot.  The commissary takes coupons that are up to 6 months expired!  We bought 2 packs of Pampers with the coupons that expire this month because they only have the small sizes of Pampers at the BX and they don't take expired.  SO it worked out great!   I think I have 3 packs of sizes 1 and 2 and then one newborn pack.  * I know people say don't buy lots of newborn because you never know how big the baby will be, that's why I only bought 1*  **  Plus the newborn diapers are so itsy bitsy they make me sort of terrified**  There were lots of coupons for wipes that will be handy.  Plus just having coupons for food items will help our grocery budget a lot, cause if I can save a buck off TP and 50 cents off cheese every bit will help with buying those expensive diapers!   We also had fun looking through the coupon papers at all the new products we have never heard of. I CAN'T WAIT to live in AMERICA again!   Only 13 months left until we leave Japan!!  I am thinking of making a paper chain of the months we have left.  LOL  Dave and I are so looking forward to moving ANYWHERE in the USA it doesn't matter!  We are working hard to save up a good down payment for a car when we move back.  We have our eye on a Pontiac Torrent. Its the funnest things we have saved for in a long time!

 

elbows, hands, knees and heels

I think the baby is running out of room in there.  He doesn't kick as much, but boy I can feel his little arms and legs moving across my belly!!!  When I have my hand on my stomach I can feel him pushing up on my hand.  He used to just kick but now it feels like a little heel or elbow or hand is pushing back.  I can feel where he is in my belly almost all the time.  Its so strange!!  Sometimes it feels like he is pushing his feet against my ribs  trying to make more room.  It doesn't feel that great but I understand he is starting to feel a little cramped.  Poor little guy.  He hasn't kicked my ribs yet.  But when he pushes against them I can tell he is really pushing hard.  Yikes if he can push against my ribs that hard, how hard will he kick my ribs?  I am nervous.  I think Nathan is funny.  Today I was trying to take  nap and he started pushing against my hand really hard.  It still kind of gives me the heebie jeebies to feel a little baby body part pushing against me so I moved my hand and he found it again and started pushing against it again!  I laughed when he did that and when I stopped my ribs felt funny so i put my hand where my rib felt strange and sure enough a little foot was right there I could feel it!!  Its so cool and strange at the same time. 

A Special Surprise

We had a really great weekend.  On Saturday we went to the squadron Christmas Party.  It was really wonderful.  The food was good, they had prizes for everyone, and the games were entertaining.  It really felt like a Christmas Party.  We even won a 12 inch electric skillet which was perfect.  We were just talking about replacing our old one because it doesn't heat well anymore.  So the prize we got was perfect!
Sunday we woke up and I made breakfast.  When we went to sit down there was a gift bag next to my plate.  I didn't even see Dave set it there!  Since it was the day of my shower he knew I would be a little sad because I wouldn't be there so he got a gift for me to open!  It was so sweet.  The card made me cry and just the gesture made me feel extremely loved.  He can be so thoughtful.    He bought a Carters blanket with a little puppy on it that says I love my puppy, a pair of cute socks, and a 'who loves baby' picture book. We had seen that picture book in the store.  I am going to put photos of our family in it soon.  I just thought that was so sweet of him to do.  It can be hard being away from our families especially when special things are going on like weddings, showers, and holidays.  I am really lucky to have such a great husband!  
Later in the day we went to see Fred Claus which we both really liked.  I was surprised that Vince Vaughn could do a PG movie!  It was still funny without curse words. 

pregnancy dreams of raccoon babies

Since I have been pregnant I have had some wacky dreams.  Dave even had a dream a couple weeks ago that he lost the baby.  But last night was the strangest.  I dreamt we had a baby girl and she looked like a girl but she was really a raccoon.  Dave and I really loved her and when she got older I had another baby this time a boy raccoon.  Dave didn't like the boy raccoon because he said we couldn't keep a boy raccoon.  So he didn't let me feed him or see him or hold him.  He even dropped the boy on the ground but said don't worry we cant keep him anyways.  So finally I felt so bad because I knew the boy was hungry I sneaked in to see him and it was a real baby boy not a raccoon.  I told Dave that I can keep him cause he isn't a raccoon and I fed the boy.   Isn't that weird?!!! 

Week 30

 

This is my 30th week.  I am really excited to hear how the shower goes this Sunday.  It will drive me bonkers all weekend waiting to hear.  Luckily we have the Squadron Christmas Party on Saturday so hopefully that will keep my mind busy.  I am looking forward to this party because Dave's squadron is so small.  Last year the AMXS Christmas party was over 500 people and everyone was so DRUNK  I almost got barfed on!  But this new  squadron is much smaller, I think just over 100 personal and they seem to be a little more grown up and family oriented.   

I went to the grocery store today and bought milk that expires 23 days before my due date!!  HeheHe.  He is doing more than kicking and punching.  Sometimes it feels like he is dragging his heels along my uterus.  Once in a while he goes after my belly button kicking and jabbing like crazy.  I joke with Dave it feels like hes trying to get out through my belly button.  Its  borderline uncomfortable.  I love the Belly Laugh that came with my weekly update from www.babycenter.com.   

 

Japanese Health Clinic

Boy let me tell you we got a glimpse today at how wonderful American Health care really is.  Americans complain but boy if they tried using the clinic I went to today they would have been floored and been begging to go back to what they have.  We drove to Hachinohe this morning to get the 4D ultrasound.  We had to take our shoes off.  It was funny to see Dave wearing slippers, thankfully they had 'large size'.  We got to the waiting room and oh my goodness I wanted to turn right around.  There were over 20 women crammed in this tiny waiting room that had 2 sofas and about 4 chairs.  It was HOT as heck in there.  So we signed in and waited over an hour to get in.  While waiting I realized these women were waiting for an hour to be seen then they have to come back and sit down for 30 minutes or more to pay!!  ALL THAT WAITING!  It was crazy.  Dave and I had to sit on these little stools.  Man my behind was dead asleep within 30 minutes!  And it had no back so my back was aching.  SO I finally after an hour and a half got called back to sit in a hallway for about 10 minutes then they took me back to a regular ultrasound room.  A Dr.  came and did a few checks on the baby.  He spoke great English.  He said the baby weighs about 3 pounds.  He was showing us the baby's nose and mouth and Nathan started taking big gulps.  You could see his little mouth opening and swallowing.  The entire time the baby was kicking like crazy.  After the regular ultrasound we went to wait in the hallway again and then were called back for the 4D scan.  That stinker!  He had his hand in front of his face!  We waited all that time and Nathan was hiding.   I think the photos are hard to make out.  But you can see that his has chubby cheeks.  If you stare at the photo for a minute you might make out his nose and eyes and cheeks.  But its tricky.  The photo the Dr. took on the regular ultrasound was of his face and you can see his nose, mouth and chin.  It looks like he has my jawline and chin.(The thing I labeled Arm might be a leg.   I cant remember.)  It was nice to have another ultrasound even if we didn't get to see Nathan's face.  After the 4D we had to wait about 15 minutes or so to pay.  We were so glad to get out of there. 

We spent what was left of our afternoon hanging around the house then we took a nap.  Then this evening we went to see 3:10 to Yuma.  It was good.  I really liked it even though I have never been a big fan of westerns.  They're so dirty and dusty and there is so much shooting.  But I liked this movie.

I went to the Doctors this afternoon.  The doc said the baby's heartbeat was strong and she sounded a little hurt when he kicked the heartbeat listening thinger.  I told her 'yeah well, he kicks me all the time.'  He doesn't like things pressing into him.  When I stand at the sink to do dishes and lean against the counter ledge he kicks until I back up.  One night he even kicked Dave's butt!  I was laying on my left side waiting for him to settle down so I could fall asleep and Dave turned and backed his butt up against my belly.  Dave was sound asleep.  But his butt was only leaning against me for a few seconds when the baby started kicking it. Anyhow... I passed the glucose tolerance test thing.  Thank goodness cause i was so nervous I would have to go take the three hour test.  The one hour test was gross.  That stuff burned my throat it was so sweet.  I had terrible heartburn all day after the test.  So yippee!!  I passed.  But she did say that I was a little anemic.  She told me I need to start taking those iron pills.  They don't have blood here on base so if I deliver and need blood she says it take a while to get blood.  But really Dave is the universal donor I should have told her if I need blood after delivery she can take it from him.  LOLOLOL.  

Nathan's Going Home Outfit

 

The women in my Feb 2008 birth board have been talking about the outfit they picked out to bring their babies home in.  It got me thinking and I picked out a cute little outfit to bring Nathan home in.  I think its so cute.  I cannot believe it is already 1/2 way thru November.  Dave's office Christmas Party is in 16 days! And my shower is in 17days!! 

28 weeks

I love these weekly emails that I get from www.babycenter.com.  They have responses about certain topics from pregnant doctors, lots of info and then a Belly Laugh section.  I LOVE them.  This was this weeks.

Birth class Q & A

Q: Will keeping a hand in a bucket of ice during class really approximate labor pain? A: Yes, more or less — just imagine the ice is the polar ice cap and you're slowly being crushed under it while somebody jabs an icicle in your spine.

Q: Will there be men in the class who snicker every time the instructor says the word "vagina"? A: Yes.

My favorite Belly Laugh was a few months ago. It was this cute cartoon that still makes me laugh when I think about it.  It usually comes to mind when I find myself totally confused about what I was doing.  I have 'baby brain' a lot!

Rainy long weekend

WHY does is ALWAYS rain on the long weekends?  It started raining Friday evening and isn't supposed to let up until Tuesday.  Actually the Japanese are forecasting some snowflakes on the 14th.  Wonder if that will happen.  I think they were right on the money the past two years.  Freaky.  We spent our Saturday running errands.  Today we got all of the Christmas gifts wrapped.  I am still waiting for 2 gifts to arrive in the mail.  They are taking a long time.  I was hoping to mail out boxes of gifts this week, Tuesday or Wednesday.  I can send out the boxes to Dave's Mom and Dad, but will have to wait to mail out my family's box.  Oh that reminds me I need to pick up some doggie treats for Anna and Molly.  I have no clue what we will do tomorrow since Dave will be home and it is going to rain all day.  We could have really used a day this weekend to clean up the yard.  It needs to be mowed and i need to clean out my flower bed and the containers.  Guess that will have to wait until another time. 

The baby woke me up last night.  About two hours after I had fallen asleep his kicks and jabs woke me up.  I had to move to get him to let up enough so I could fall asleep again.  One of the the women in my due date club went into preterm labor.  She was 24 weeks when she delivered her baby.  He is doing OK and she posted a photo of him.  I was surprised how big his hands and feet looked. It is weird to think the baby's feet are already that big when I get a kick.  This week is my 28th week.  I have been thinking about how stinky it is that they only do that ultrasounds at 8-10 weeks, then at 20 weeks.  That means you have to go another 20 weeks without getting a peek at the baby.  How did women get along before ultrasounds?  I think we will go to Hachinohe soon to get the 3D ultrasound.  Some of the women in my group that are 27 weeks have gone for the 3D and they look really cool, when they are done at like 23 weeks they aren't as nice.  I have to go to get the sugar test this week and then I have an OB appointment so when I am there I will get the info about the 3/D scans. Eeee.   

Reading up

We stopped by the library yesterday and I picked up a few books.  I had two friends tell me that they wanted to breastfeed but couldn't get any help from the base hospital. I really hope to breastfeed if I can so I picked up a few books on the topic.  I hope they make me feel a little more confident. 

I also picked up a book that looked fun called 1000 Best Baby Bargains by Kimberly Danger.  I think I am on tip 320 or something.  Some of these ideas are really great!  I can't believe how expensive some things are.  I have noticed while reading reviews on Babies R Us that a lot of the medium priced items rate better than the expensive.  When we first registered we registered for this nice set... there was a playard, highchair, swing, bouncer, stroller and car seat.  It was a nice thought to have everything match.  Then I got online and started reading the reviews.  They were horrible.  Then I noticed how much more the cost than other brands.  And the cheaper ones had great reviews!!  So I changed those items for the more practical brands.   

Then the other day at the Dr. office I was looking through a magazine and the cover had a cute little boy dressed in this nice shirt.  Well, I happen to see the clothes brands of that outfit and the price!  40 bucks for one shirt??  How do people afford that?  I only spend 40 bucks on a shirt for me if it is a really nice thick sweater.  I couldn't believe it! 

Hiccups and Heartbeat

Lately I have been able to feel the baby hiccuping.  It is such an odd feeling.  Then today I read that during pregnancy around this time you can start hearing the baby's heartbeat through the belly.  So when Dave got home I had him listen and sure enough he could hear it!!  CRAZY!  I told him to put his head on my belly and listen, he didn't have any idea what he was listening for.  Then he swung his head back fast and said I can hear the heartbeat!  It was cool.  I have Dr. appointment this Friday.  The week is going by so fast I am worried I might forget, but Dave has his physical that day so he can remind me. 

I really think I like this Multiply site.  I like that I can have photo albums again, I have missed them since 360 took them away. 

My Favorite Pregnancy Websites

I have found a few really great websites since I became pregnant. Two of the sites send me a weekly email that explains whats going on with the baby that week. Its really neat. And sometimes I really think I would forget what week I am in if I didn't get an email every Sunday that says 'Welcome to week 25'. My favorite site is www.babycenter.com It has all the info available for women trying to get pregnant, women that are pregnant, new moms, moms with toddlers, preschoolers, and big kids. Actually I think it is for both moms and dads. But you know most of the people on the site are women wondering what is up with that new thing their nipples are doing or all of the other crazy things that start happening to your body during pregnancy. But the awesome thing about this site are the community boards. They have boards set up for everything. There are boards with women talking about struggles getting pregnant, other boards for women coping with the loss of a child... and the funner boards are the birth boards! I LOVE it. I just started really fallowing and participating in my due date month board about a month ago. But a lot of the women met up there at the very beginning and have been going through everything together. Its cool to hear that the other women are constipated too, and are anxious and already have their nursery together. They post weekly belly pictures of their baby bumps( and I was shocked at how huge they are), they keep a tally of women on the board expecting boys vs. girls. Its a great place to take your questions or concerns and find several other people going through the exact same thing. I love checking in to the board. I cannot wait until February when we start posting birth announcement. The board will keep going and we can talk to each other about.. babies that scream all night or babies with diaper rash or all sorts of other things mommys talk about.

Bundles For Babies

This morning I went to the class that the Family Support Center has. Its called Bundles for Babies. It was 3 hours long but really great! They gave us this packet of great info. They also had several guest speakers come in and inform us on all sorts of stuff. I was so glad someone came in and explained the Birth Registry and Passport processes. SO I found out.... It takes 4-6 weeks to get the baby's birth certificate. And if we apply for a tourist passport they will process the passport at the same time as the birth registry so both the birth certificate and passport come in after about 4-6 weeks. If we get the free SOFA passport we have to wait the 4-6 weeks for the birth certificate and then send away for the passport and wait another 6 weeks. So now I can stop worrying about whether or not we will be able to go home next summer for Becky's wedding and Jackie's graduation. I am so glad we will be able to bring the baby home to meet our family next summer rather than waiting until Feb-09 when he will be already one!

Anyhow the bundle they give out is awesome. I had no idea is would have so much stuff in it!! This is what came in the bag... All Gerber stuff.....1 snuggly soft receiving blanket, 1 thermal receiving blanket, 1 hooded towel, 4 pack of wash clothes, 4 pack of diaper burp cloths, 3 pack burp cloths, 2 pack of 6-9 month Sleep n Plays, 4 pack of newborn onesies, and 2 bibs!!!! AND it all came in a nice Air Force Aid Society canvas bag. I was really impressed. OH!! And at the class she did a raffle and I won a nice blue knitted blanket. How great is all that?!

Entry for October 13, 2007

We got the carpets cleaned this weekend! Actually Dave did all the steam cleaning. Its sort of a one person at a time thing you know, and he is good at it and fast. I think he enjoys cleaning the carpet cause when you are finished it looks so much better and you get to see how nasty the water is when your done. Anyhow, its all cleaned and dry and the furniture is put back. The baby's room looks a lot better and I put the crib where I wanted it and it looks spiffy. I can't wait to get the whole room set up. My shower is December 2ND. I hope the mail isn't too slow because I can't wait to set everything up. It probably will take forever to get here since it will be the height of the Christmas mailing rush. Oh well, the real wait is until February when the baby will arrive! I LOVE Saturdays when Dave gets to sleep in with me and when we wake up I can put his hand where the baby is kicking and he can feel it. Its nice to lay there for a while and every time he feels the little thump from inside he lets out a little gasp. Its so awesome.

We went to the Maintenance Group Family Fun Day this afternoon. They had a burgers and dogs up at the ski lodge. It was nice. For the kids they had two bouncy things. There was an OK turn out... considering the group has over a thousand people working under it. It was nice to see the Colonel throwing a ball for the little kids to bat at. ( the same Colonel that plays guitar in the praise team at church)That is one things I really like about the military. Here they have 3 base beach bashes during the summer where the whole base is invited for kids games, and free food and drinks. Then you have the group gatherings, and the smaller office gatherings. Plus I think the Christmas Party is awesome. Get dressed up and go to this pretty ballroom all decorated for the holidays. You get a nice sit down dinner, they have prizes and the Commander thanks everyone for doing such a great job. It makes the base feel like a close knit community. I know the stateside bases don't do as much but I don't think people bother to participate even if they do. When we go back to the states I will make sure we do go to the the squadron Burger Burns and enjoy the community events more.

P.S. I took this photo of the crib and I noticed in the pic the chair looks dingy and discolored.... But in person it doesn't look that way. I think that chair will look really nice next to the crib bedding we registered for. Eeeee

Ultrasound results!!

Okay so today we woke up really early. I woke up at quarter to 7 this morning. I had to drink 40 oz. of water before 8 o'clock. I wasn't sure I would be able to do it but it wasn't so terrible. I drank 3 glasses of OJ and then had 2 of water. I woke up thirsty so that helped. By the time we got to the hospital at a quarter to 9 my bladder sure was full. I wasn't sure how long I was going be able to hold it. Once we got back and he started the ultrasound he saw my bladder was full, and I asked 'what do women lie to you about it? 'and he said they do!! I don't know why they would do that. The instructions say that if your bladder isn't full they will make you reschedule. Anyhow he looked for a minute then let me go pee. I was so grateful. Then he did the rest of the ultrasound. The baby was really moving around and he kept saying 'man your kid is wild'. He got his look at the heart, stomach, bladder, kidneys, spine and all that. Then he got a good look at the boy parts!! I told him I am so glad he got to see it clearly because I have thought it was a boy for so long that I don't know if I would have believed him if he tried to tell me it is a girl. I knew Dave would be so happy. He grabbed my leg and squeezed it when the guy pointed out the penis. I know Dave wanted a boy so badly. SO WE ARE HAVING A BOY!!!! We are so excited but mostly we are glad the baby is healthy. The baby is 1 lb. 4 oz. Isn't that amazing?! Afterward we were looking at the photo the guy gave us and Dave said look that's really inside of you! Its awesome.

Bought a crib

So, Dave and I had a bunch of errands to take care of this morning. We got an early start today which isn't common for us on Saturdays. Usually we bum around in the morning. This morning though I was up by 8 and the baby was kicking. Dave finally got to feel the baby kick. I am so glad. He got to feel a few kicks actually. YAY!! I made french toast and everything I was so awake this morning. So anyways. After we got most of the stuff done in town that we had on our list we stopped at the furniture store to see if they had any new cribs in. And they did!! I think Dave and I both saw it and knew it was the one we wanted. It is so nice. The right color wood and with the one hand release that I was hoping to find. Eeee I am really happy. I had a feeling I would know the crib I wanted when I saw it. I am glad we didn't have to settle for what they have had in stock for the past couple months. It is going to be delivered on Tuesday afternoon. What a day that will be! We go for my ultrasound in the morning then the crib will be delivered soon afterwards!

The crib is nice. One of those 4 in 1 cribs. I think it will look really handsome as a headboard one day. Its made by Bassett.

Tomorrow is the beginning of October??

I cannot believe how fast the days go by. It seems like I blink and it's a Friday again. Every Thursday night at dinner I comment to Dave that I just can't believe another week is ending. And tomorrow is the beginning of October. CRAZY!! I need to get our Christmas shopping for our family in the states finished soon. I hate leaving it until the last minute. Since last minute is in November for SAM packages that means I want to have mine done by the end of Oct. for sure.

I have a OB appointment this Friday(Oct 5). I am supposed to see the new Dr. I need to write down a few questions to remember to ask him. Last time at the end of my appointment the Doc asked me is I had any ?'s and I couldn't think of any until I got to the car, then I remembered the bunch of things I was wondering about. So I think I might take a list this time. I have been having a daily dizzy spell for the past week. Just for a moment once a day things just start spinning. It doesn't last even a minute but boy I have to sit down for a bit to get myself together. So I want to ask about that. I have read that dizzy spells are normal in pregnancy though so I am not freaking out.

I have the spare room almost totally dejunked so I hope that next weekend we can rent a rug doctor. Once the carpet has been cleaned I think we might go ahead and buy the crib.

Feeling the baby move isn't a little flutter anymore. One night it felt like someone was flicking my bellybutton from the inside. I told Dave it was a really weird feeling and he put his hand over my bellybutton and the baby did it more and harder. It was neat.

Life's Greatest Miracle

Dave and I watched NOVA's Life's Greatest Miracle tonight. We stopped at the library this afternoon and picked up a few PBS programs. We sort of felt like dorks but they have loads of PBS and NOVA programs on DVD and VHS and most of them look really interesting to us. Right now there isn't much on TV to watch. The new seasons that are beginning in the states won't begin here until after the holidays. We thought we will borrow a couple a week to keep us from going batty with the crap on TV right now. We got the first part of The West and the Life's Greatest Miracle. So tonight since nothing was on we watched the baby DVD. It was amazing!! It really is tricky to get everything right to conceive!! It is amazing it happens at all! I never knew how complicated it is to get the little sperm up to the egg. They showed the birth and it was a little nerve racking for me. But I didn't get woozy like I used to. During my first trimester every time some woman in a movie went into labor I saw spots and felt like I was under a heat lamp I would get all hot and sweaty. But heck, watching how much goes into fertilizing an egg the birth is a piece of cake!!

This week is my 20th week!! I am half way!! I can't wait until Dave gets to feel the baby kick, I can tell he is getting anxious about it. When the baby moves I still sometimes jump and 'OH' at the feeling. I can tell he is getting jealous a bit. Tonight when i 'oohed' he told me to keep my hand on my belly to make sure it can't be felt on the outside yet. He was worried he is missing out. I think he is going to be an awesome daddy.
